Catwalk
"I went back to Dayton to host the "Catwalk" to help raise money for the Humane Society of Dayton. It was a fun event that included a runway show and various other presentations. We even auctioned off a dress from my Spring 2010 line."
Chino Hills
"Logan Neitzel and I had a great time at the event at The Shoppes at Chino Hills. We got to meet fans, sign photos and even give contest winners their own personal shopping experience. Logan and I each had a contest winner and we took them around “The Shoppes” and helped them spend their $500 gift card. I was paired with a young school teacher who was soo much fun, we ended up finding so many great pieces that she spent almost double the amount of the card! I know how to bargain shop so she really had a complete new wardrobe."
Color of Energy
"I gave a speech at The Color of Energy Art Gallery in Dayton, Ohio. I had a great time meeting people and discussing the art form of fashion."
Dayton Art Institute
"I gave a speech and taught a class at the Dayton Art Institute. It was great to get a chance to fill in all the people in my home town on what I have been doing with ALTHEA HARPER inc. and getting ready for NYFW Fall 2010. I also taught a class to young students who are interested in fashion design."

Highball Halloween - Columbus, OH
"I was a guest judge for the Halloween competition, and had a great time selecting the winner in various categories as well as the overall winner for best costume. I also designed an exhibition costume for fun. It was a great experience to go back to Ohio and promote creativity on such a great holiday!"
Jenna Claire Studio
"I hosted an event at Jenna Claire Studio where I gave a talk and also made a bag to auction off for charity!"

"I gave a speech at the stitching post in Dayton, Ohio to talk about Project Runway, life as a designer, and staying true to what you believe in! lol Being in a creative field is hard sometimes because you are going have people who don't like your work and you are going to hear a million 'nos' before you get a 'yes'. You just have to stick to your dreams and have faith in what you do!"
